Defining different types of AI, meanings of creativity. Interwoven strands of issues and influences in development: ethics, work (up-skilling, down-skilling), AI’ing everything, neo capitalism. Brief introduction to design futuring.

We will apply techniques from design futuring to think about critical issues for AI and Creativity. Break into 6 groups of 3 people and complete the futuring wheel exercise. Reassemble to collate ideas that we’ll continue to develop over the week.

| 3:00pm-4:00pm | Deep talk 1: Caterina Moruzzi | Sala Veneziana | A deep dive talk (30-40mins) plus time for questions and discussion. |

| 4:30pm-5:30pm | Topic distillation | Sala Veneziana | Using ideas from the design futuring we will distil topics for the creativity and AI manifesto. |
