Workshop Themes

As we prepare for the workshop, we’d like to invite your input on the focus that will guide our activities, discussions, and ultimately shape our collaborative paper. Below, you’ll find a shortlist of proposed topics that reflect our current thinking. We encourage you to comment on which of these resonate most with you, or feel free to suggest additional themes you believe will be thought-provoking and interesting to follow.

List of topics:

1. Speculative futures (the future of creative work): what new modes of creativity could be developed with AI technologies? How will they reshape the way we think, create, and collaborate with each other?

2. Adaptation, embracing and over reliance: what if we gave ourselves up to AI? Thinking optional.

3. Slowing down: in a time when immediacy dominates, what does it mean to slow down in Creative AI? How could AI’s proposed “productivity enhancements” lead to a deeper and more satisfying creative life?

4. What lies beyond?: how do we push AI past the predictable to uncover the unexpected?
